PURPOSE:To get rid of a timing error between both mechanisms, by providing the first and second recording and reproducing mechanisms, and providing a temporarily stopping means for each of them and a temporary stop releasing means for releasing a temporary stop state of said 2 mechanisms simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:An L-lever 114 is axially supported so as to be freely turnable by a chassis 30. On the other end of this lever 114, a part to be stopped 114b formed by bending said lever downward is provided. Also, this part to be stopped 114b and a stopper part 128a formed on one end of a recording and reproducing switching lever 128 of a right side magnetic recording and reproducing mechanism 4 are opposed to each other. The recording and reproducing switching levers 127, 128 slide separately (slide to the left in the figure) against index coil springs 131, 132, to the recording position from the reproducing position shown in the figure, by pushing the recording button of the respective magnetic recording and reproducing mechanisms 3, 4. |
