PURPOSE:To prevent the playing condition without a record disc, by keeping the revolution of turntable to stop, when the power supply is applied with the tone arm not in the rest position. CONSTITUTION:The signal through the inveter 2 for output of the integrating circuit 1 integrating the power supply voltage and the signal of the rest detection means 4 detecting the rest position of the tone arm are input to the logical product gate 3, and the output and the signal of the rest detection means 4 take the set and reset inputs of the flip flop 5. Further, the output and the signal of the rest detection means 4 are input to the logical product gate 6 to drive the phonomotor 7. Accordingly, even if the tone arm immediately lifts down with the power supply applied in error without a record disc, since the turning of the turntable is blocked, unpleasant tone and damage of stylus can surely be prevented. |
