The present invention relates to a continuous manufacturing method of an ethylene oligomer. According to the present invention, generation of 1-butene which is a byproduct of a continuous oligomerization reaction of ethylene is suppressed, and accumulation of the byproduct inside a reactor is inhibited. Also, the continuous manufacturing method of the ethylene oligomer exhibits high selectivity to 1-hexene and 1-octene, and a high and stable catalytic activity. The continuous manufacturing method comprises: an ethylene oligomerization reaction step which makes feed including an ethylene monomer come in contact with a catalyst system including a ligand compound, a transition metal source, and a promotor; and a purification step which separates an ethylene oligomer from the resultant product of the oligomerization reaction.
