PURPOSE:To compensate the disturbance of the frequency characteristic, by providing input and output terminals at one point of a main signal line to apply the main signal to a high-input impedance amplifier and outputting delay signal components from a high-impedance element in respect to an optical fiber transmission line. CONSTITUTION:The main signal including reflection signal components on a main signal line 10 between an input terminal IN and an output terminal OUT is divided along the solid-line arrows by resistances (R) 1 and 2 and is inputted to a high-impedance and balanced-output amplifier 11. The output signal of the amplifier 11 is applied to a bridge circuit 12 through Rs 3 and 4. The circuit 12 consists of Rs 5-7 and a delay line DL, and the impedance of the delay line DL is so selected that the circuit 12 is balanced in DC. Delay signal components from the circuit 12 are applied to the signal line 10 through a high-impedance R 8. Thus, the disturbance of the frequency characteristic of the main signal due to reflection signal components is compensated with a simple circuit without having the influence such as loss upon the main circuit. |
