PURPOSE:To obtain the titled material having high sensitivity and producing no fog during processing by adding a specified triazine deriv. to a silver halide emulsion layer contg. a betaine compound having no surface activating power or other constituent layer. CONSTITUTION:To at least 1 silver halide emulsion layer contg. a betaine compound having no surface activating power such as the compound of formulaI, II or III or other constituent layer of a photographic sensitive silver halide material is added a triazine deriv. represented by formula IV (where each of R<1> and R<2> is OH, hydroxylamino, amino, alkylamino, arylamino, aralkylamino, alkoxy, phenoxy, alkyl, aryl, alkylthio or phenylthio), e.g., the compound of formula V or VI. Thus, the titled material having high sensitivity, producing no fog during processing and suitable especially for quick processing at high temp. is obtd. |
