<p>The herbaceous plant mower has a large bag (11) which is mounted on a cradle (17) pivotally mounted on a wheeled chassis so that it can be tipped over to discharge its contents. The bag is supported by a series of straps (27,28,29,30) which pass over the top and are connected to the cradle. The sack is tilted about an axis which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The cradle is pivoted by an hydraulic jack mounted on the vehicle chassis. The pneumatic suction device (10) picks up the clippings and feeds them into the open upper end of the bag.</p> |
