<p>The distributor is for vehicle power assisted steering and has pilot shafts (10) acting on steering cranks (11). These pilot shafts include a steering shaft (13) in two parts (13A,B) with limited play allowing angular displacement between them. There are also power assisted drives (17,18,19,21) which in response to an angular displacement, act on the steering cranks. A hydraulic pressure supply (17,18) acts on an actuator (19) working the cranks. The actuator contains perforated discs. One at least of these is fixed firmly to one of the two steering shaft parts and controls rotation of the others.</p> |
