PURPOSE:To reduce the production of incompletely burnt gas by extremely slowly moving down a wick for a stove into an oil tank through a reduction gear mechanism by a motor at the fire extinguishing time and slowly cooling the high temperature part of the wick. CONSTITUTION:A handle 1 is rotated at the igniting time, a pinion 7 at the end a main shaft 2 is engaged with a rack, thereby raising a wick holding column 4 and igniting the wick as useal. Then, a limit switch 20 is pushed at the fire extinguishing time, contacts 22, 23 are contacted by a spring 27, and the voltage of a battery 19 is applied to a drive motor 18. The shaft 2 is slowly reversely rotated via the pinion 17 and a reduction gear 16 by the rotation of the motor 18, the column 4 is slowly lowered, and the fire is extinguished. When the shaft 2 is rotated until the fire is completely extinguished, a cam 25 lifts the end of a switch shaft 21, thereby separating the contacts 22, 23 by the spring 27 and stopping the motor 18. |
