<p>PURPOSE:To attain an automatic program search of a tape by identifying a picture recorded on a cassette tape from a video reproduction head by picture identification and instructing the running or reverse running stop of the tape to a control section in detecting the absence of the video signal. CONSTITUTION:A video sending section 1 records a video image on a cassette tape 9 by a video recording head 4 via a picture processing section 3. When a cassette tape extraction signal detection section 2 detects an extraction an interblock to the tape 9, the processing section 3 provides an interblock to the tape 9 for a light time in the absence of the video signal. In setting the tape 9 to the video camera again, the set signal detection section 5 of the tape 9 detects it and the running or reversing of the tape 9 is instructed to a cassette tape running/reversing running control section 8 via a picture recognition section 6. Then the picture recorded on the tape 9 obtained from the video reproducing head 7 is sent to the recognition section 6 to discriminate the presence or absence of the video signal and in detecting the video signal absence state, the forward/reverse stop of the tape 9 is instructed to the control section 8 to apply program searching of the tape.</p> |
