Control sleeves (22, 23) arranged in the slide itself (19) and traversed by the pressure fluid cooperate with control bores (27, 28) located coaxially in the body (13). Planar deviation surfaces (32, 33) are provided at a small distance from a parallel control surface (24) formed by circular control edges (25, 26). By adjusting this distance (47), the fluid flowing angle (46) may be modified so that the forces acting on the slide (19) are balanced. Thus, it is possible to stably adjust high fluid flows at important pressure drops on the control edges (25, 26) by means of a direct control regulation valve (10).
