PURPOSE:To obtain a wire dot printing head by preventing a magnetic interference between a plurality of magnetic circuits with a magnetic body for forming a bypass magnetic path between cores of electromagnets arranged in large number. CONSTITUTION:Armatures 2 are attracted to cores 3 with a magnetic attraction force generated as to deform a plate spring 4 as a magnetic flux of a permanent magnet 1 passes the armatures 2 and the cores 3. Then, a coil 5 is energized to cancel the magnetic flux and the armatures 2 are released to turn to the original position utilizing a deformation energy of the plate spring 4, where a wire 6 fastened on the tip of the armature 2 is projected to print. In this printing head, a magnetic element 9 is provided to form a bypass magnetic path between the adjacent magnets 5 and the cores. This allows the formation of a magnetic path on each of the armatures 2 and the magnets 5 eliminating the need for excess current when many armatures 2 are released simultaneously. |
