PURPOSE:To prevent the fuel injection timing when the load is light from delaying so as to improve the performance of an engine, by arranging a cutting valve in an oil pressure lowering path of a fuel oil pressure generating apparatus for generating a fuel pressure corresponding to the rotational frequency of an engine. CONSTITUTION:The oil pressure generating apparatus 4 for generating a fuel oil pressure corresponding to the rotational frequency of an engine and an injection timing adjuster 14 for adjusting the fuel injection timing in accordance with the generated oil pressure are provided. The cutting valve 21 is arranged in the oil pressure lowering path 38 of an oil pressure controlling apparatus 37. When the load for the engine is light where the load is less than a prescribed value or below, the oil lowering path 38 is closed by the cutting valve. Accordingly, the pressure in the pump chamber 2 would not be lowered, and the fuel injection timing would be prevented from delaying. Thus the combustion conditions of the engine can be favorably retained, so that the misfire, or the like may be prevented, and the performance of the engine can be improved. |
