PURPOSE:To increase the copying speed in terms of a half-sized original, by dividing a photosensitive drum roughly into the first half and second half parts and using the first turn copying action for the front-half part, and the second turn for the rear-half part copying action. CONSTITUTION:The ordinary copy starts when a print button is turned on. If the transfer paper has a size within A4 for example, the copy is carried out in the copying process of development and cleaning. Usually only the first half of a photosensitive drum 11 is developed with the first turn of the drum with the second half cleaned. With the 2nd turn of the drum, the second half is developed with the first half cleaned. Then the surface of the drum 11 is cleaned completely with the third turn. After this, the same process is carried out. As a result, two sheets of copy are obtained to the three turns of the drum 11 to increase the copying speed. |
