An electrical signal is generated by a scattering body in dependence on its size, shape and position in space and on its state of movement by means of an acoustic or electromagnetic close-range radar system. Scattering bodies are considered to be persons or groups of persons, the movement and spatial arrangement of whom is to be detected contactlessly and reproduced as sound or light effects after suitable electric conversion.
