The control and regulation of a synchronous machine by means of thyristor invertors, the rotor rotation angle being measured, and a required rotation speed being compared with the actual rotation speed, is intended to be effected such that the tendency of the state variables to oscillate is overcome while the torque emitted by the machine corresponds with the required value. This is achieved in that the rotor angular displacement is effected as a function of the real current and reactive current, in that these values are additionally supplied to the drive unit (triggering equipment) for the thyristors, a power source supplying the invertor, with a capacitor connected in parallel with it whose nominal voltage value is adjusted over a characteristic as a function of the required rotation speed. <IMAGE> |
