The split rear seat has the squab unclipped on one side of the vehicle to allow the seat back to fold flat. With the front passenger seat fully reclined a flat load surface is obtained through the full length of the car interior. The full load space is used with a passenger space still available on the remaining rear seat. Bulky loads can be carried without obscuring the view for the driver.
