The invention relates to a device for indicating the speed reduction in vehicles by means of an exterior light. Instead of a separate light, the brake light can also be additionally used for this purpose. The device consists of a circuit which contains as essential components the light and an inertia switch. The response delay and the duration of lighting are adjustable.
