The invention relates to a double-action trigger for self-loading pistols, the essential parts of the double-action trigger being shown. The double-action trigger comprises a trigger rod which is articulated on one arm of a trigger lever which is supported in the grip housing of the pistol such that it can pivot. Located at the other end is the trigger sear lever (bolt block, trigger plate) which is prestressed upwards by a spring which is supported in the grip housing. The trigger sear lever has a coupling-like recess which engages in a coupling arm which is arranged on a driver disc eccentrically with respect to the firing-lever bolt. The driver disc is supported such that it can rotate freely on the firing lever bolt, and has a second similar eccentric pin which engages in a circumferential recess on the firing lever in order to drive the latter with it. Allocated to the firing lever is a trigger tumbler, which is subject to spring prestressing and is operated by the trigger sear lever. Between the trigger sear lever and the articulation point, the trigger rod has two control sections which interact with control cams on the grip housing and on the recoiling breech element of the self-loading pistol in order to control the coupling between the trigger sear lever and the driver disc.
