In the construction of pipelines, apparatuses, boilers and cooling systems, holders or slotted supports are inserted into costly screwed, welded and profiled structures for the attachment and guidance of tubes and apparatuses. The main supports and guide straps must either be drilled through and screwed or welded to one another. In the case of pipelines, conversion of pipes to other pipe sizes leads to a multiplicity of support holes. The newly invented pipe holder permits the attachment and guidance or clamping of pipes, supports, apparatuses on profiled supports in any position. It consists of clamping jaws which are clamped firmly around the profiled supports by means of clamping screws and of eyes, having screw holes for the insertion of round-steel clips (Fig. 1.1) or of grooves for the insertion of pipe supports (Fig. 2.1). Sliding plates or discs contribute to the reduction in the friction forces. <IMAGE>
