PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing adjusting device capable of suppressing the deterioration of positioning accuracy of a spool of a hydraulic control valve.SOLUTION: In a valve timing adjusting device 10, a supply oil path 58 for supplying hydraulic oil to an advance angle chamber is provided separately from a discharging oil path 67 for discharging the hydraulic oil from the advance angle chamber. A spool 50 is provided so as to reciprocate in an axial direction in a sleeve 41, and switches the communication and the interception of an introducing oil path 55, the supply oil path 58, the discharging oil path 67, and a supplying/discharging oil path 63. A partitioning member 90 is fixed to one end portion 51 on a bottom portion 43 side of the sleeve 41 in the spool 50, and partitions an air chamber 91 between the one end portion 51 of the spool 50 and the bottom portion 43 of the sleeve 41 from each oil path. At the one end portion 51 of the spool 50, the pressure of the hydraulic oil of each oil path is not acted, so that the deterioration of positioning accuracy of the spool 50 due to the action of hydraulic pressure on the one end portion 51 of the spool 50 can be avoided. |
