PURPOSE:To obtain a fiber board with good appearance by forming moth- eaten-like thin holes, by processing it in such a manner and order as to apply a colored coating on a rockwool substrate, further apply a coating of a mixture of rockwool and glue, dry it and grind the surface by a grinding machine. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a dried rockwool substrate 1 is provided with coating of a paint 2 (such as, a resin paint of vinyl acetate group, which preferably has a lower lightness than the substrate 1) by means of a roll coater, etc. After the paint 2 dried, it is provided with coating of a finishing paint prepared by adding 30pts.wt. of rockwool to 100pts.wt. of a glue, such as 1.5wt% of CMC. And then, the dried surface of the finishing paint 5 is ground to a level surface, and a part of the surface of an air layer formed in the finishing paint 5 is exposed to form moth-eaten-like thin holes 3, and by doing so, it is possible to obtain an objective fiber board on which color of the paint 2 can be seen through the thin holes 3 on a rockwool upper board 4. EFFECT:Depths of the thin holes 3 can be seen variously. |
