PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which can prevent information leakage by automatically performing encryption setting according to use definition of each storage area.SOLUTION: A storage unit 11 is logically composed of a plurality of storage areas. A determination unit 14 determines use of each storage area of the storage unit 11. For example, the determination unit 14 determines the use of the storage area by using a setting condition for generating the storage area. A setting unit 15 performs encryption setting corresponding to each storage area, such as setting of encryption method, encryption key, etc., according to the use of the corresponding storage area determined by the determination unit 14. When it is determined to perform encryption, a storage control unit 12 performs encryption of information to be written and decryption of read out encrypted information by using an encryption/decryption unit 13 according to the encryption setting set by the setting unit 15. |
