PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for drying laver sheets, by forming a dehydrating roller apparatus from large-diameter rollers formed from a material having a good thermal conductivity and small-sized spongy rollers placed around the large-diameter rollers. CONSTITUTION:Dehydrating rollers 13 and 14 are formed from large-diameter rollers 20 having a rigid material with a good thermal conductivity, e.g. a metal, as the peripheral surfaces, and two small-diameter spongy rollers 21 having a sponge wound around at least the peripheries thereof, e.g. non-woven fabric or cloth, and the formed lever sheets are nipped and pressed between both rollers and dehydrated. |
