PURPOSE:To provide a printer free of misselection with a quick selection of a plate surface by providing a lens on a housing to magnify visually reading figures corresponding to the plate surface selected at the printing position. CONSTITUTION:A convex lens 22c is provided on a printing protective cover 22b of a housing 22 and a visually reading figure on a bar code plate 21 fastened on each index ring 24 is read therewith 22c from outside. The contents of a bar code and an arabic figures at the printing position at the lowest level coincides with the contents of visually reading figures visible with the lens 22c at the highest level. |
