PURPOSE:To perform a stereoscopic display of a tomographic picture with high contrast and an accurate relation between the front and back positions and in a simple and quick way, by driving the dynamic scatterable type liquid crystal plates which are arrayed with prescribed spaces corresponding to each projection film of the tomographic picture and have the transparency which varies electrically. CONSTITUTION:A tomographic picture film 13 is attached to each region having the successive equal level difference at a picture plate projecting part 11. Then the film 13 is successively projected by means of a motor 17 which is controlled via a position detecting photocoupler 18, an electronic flash 8, etc. At the same time, dynamic scatterable type liquid crystal plates 15 are distributed equidistantly and in parallel to each other in accordance with the level difference at the part 11 and then has their transparency varying electrically. Then the corresponding plates 15 among those mentioned above are successively driven to perform the focusing. As a result, a projected image free from any distrotion is reproduced. In a such a way, the film 13 is directly used to perform a stereoscopic display of a tomographic picture with high contrast and an accurate relation between the front and back positions and in a simple and quick way. |
