PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for drying laver sheets, by feeding high- pressure air streams from jet slits provided just above the formed laver sheets in dehumidifying booths. CONSTITUTION:The respective dehumidifying booths 50, 51 and 52 have jet slits 53, 54 and 55 just above a belt conveyor 1 respectively, and high-pressure ventilating pumps 56, 57 and 58 above the jet slits. On the other hand, the dehumidifying booths 50, 51 and 52 are communicated with ventilating holes provided in partition walls 61, 62 and 63. Dried air streams delivered from dehumidifying dryers 31 are jetted through high-pressure ventilating pumps 56, 57 and 58 and the jet slits 53, 54 and 55 on formed laver sheets at a high speed. |
