The large size ball bearings (1) are located between an elastic inner shell (2) and an outer support surface. The inner shell is shaped to clip over a smaller bearing (9) and has cut-outs to locate the balls without requiring a cage. The larger bearing is protected by an elastic flange (13). The bearing is simple to repair, by replacing the ball bearings with larger sizes. The drive flange on the output shaft is secured to the axle stub (5) by a simple external weld (7). |
