<p>PURPOSE:To improve in machine height and to reduce in occupying floor area besides the prevention of clogging by sludge and the improvement in purification efficiency by providing a soln. and bubble ascending type aeration tank in vertical cord-like filter beds of a sludge catalytic oxidation tank and constructing both tanks in such a way as to connect the legs of their units in vertical directions. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical aeration tank 2 is provided at the center in a catalytic oxidation tank packed with vertical cord-like filter beds 7. The tanks 2, 6 are constituted by connecting the respective legs of their upper, lower units 2', 6', 2'', 6''. when the raw liquid 9' of a control tank 17 is filled in the tank 6 and air is fed through an air feed port 4, bubbles ascend in the tank 2 and saturate O2 in the raw liquid, thereby making a satd. soln. 9. Ascending flow is generated in this by the excess bubbles, and is blocked by an end plate 1, by which internal pressure is developed in the tank 2 so that the O2 supersaturates in the soln. 9. This soln. passes together with the bubbles through the filter beds 7 across the same. At this time, fine bubbles are produced and dispersed to form the descending laminar flow along the beds 7 and this flow recirculates through an inlet 3. In this way, the O2 acts effectively, and since the beds 7 are like vertical cords, the blocking on account of the excessive sticking of the sludge and the clogging by the dislodged sludge are obviated.</p> |
