The present invention relates to a personal authentication method using a beacon and a system for the same, capable of determining if a user is authenticated and if a beacon signal is received normally. According to the present invention, a persona authentication system using a beacon includes a beacon device which transmits a beacon signal having beacon identification information, a user terminal which creates authentication information including beacon identification information, terminal identification information, and the intensity of the beacon signal if the beacon signal is received, and a management server which receives the authentication information from the user terminal to perform the personal authentication. The management server controls the beacon device to transmit a changed beacon signal, and the user terminal and the management server re-perform a personal authentication procedure using the changed beacon signal, until a beacon signal having a reception intensity or more, or a reception intensity or less, the reception intensity being preset by the user terminal, is received by a preset count. |
