PURPOSE:To improve strength and corrosion resistance of a Pb-Sb alloy electrode material by adding a specified amount of either one of Li, K, Na among an alkali metal group to a Pb-Sb alloy. CONSTITUTION:Either one of Li, K, Na in an amount of 0.02-0.1wt% among an alkali metal group is added to a Pb-Sb alloy containing 0.5-4.0wt% Sb, and supercooling in solidification of the Pb-Sb alloy is artificially introduced to obtain a divided and fine eutectic structure or cored structure. |
