PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substantially circular cutting insert capable of sufficiently improving fixability of the cutting insert in a tool body, the tool body and a tip replaceable rotary cutting tool.SOLUTION: A first end face (2) has a contour shape where a plurality of arcuate curve parts (6) and straight parts (7) as many as the arcuate curve parts (6) are alternately arranged side by side. The arcuate curve part (6) and the straight part (7) are functionable as a cutting blade. The first end face has a shape that is rotationally symmetrical (n) times around a center axis (IA) ((n) is the number of arcuate curve parts of the first end face). On a peripheral side face (4), a plurality of restraining parts (8) are provided. Each of the restraining parts is positioned at an opposite side of the corresponding arcuate curve part (6) with the center axis (IA) interposed therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
