PURPOSE:To decrease the time to extend one line length of image data, by making data conversion without restorating compressed data. CONSTITUTION:An original compressed data are applied to an EOL detector 2 and a data selector 3 via a parallel serial conversion register 1. A fixed data address generator 7 gives input to an address 61 of an MH.MR (modified Haffmann modified read) code table 6, and the output of a parallel-series register 5 is inputted to a data selector 3. The output of the selector 3 is inputted to a parallel-series register 4, and a converted compression data taking the original compressed data longer at each one line is outputted from the series-parallel register 4. |
