<p>PURPOSE:To recover waste heat and remove the environmental polluting matter in the waste gas produced when electric power is generated by combustion of combustible materials by creating a high temp. reducing atmosphere with said waste gas, and denitrating the waste gas, further thermally decomposing CaCO3 and desulfurizing the gas with the production of decomposition formed by this. CONSTITUTION:The waste gas of about 700-800 deg.C produced in a combustion furnace 1 is conducted to a decomposing furnace 3, and the fuel supplied from burners 8 is burned to decompose the greater part of limestone powder from a supplying machine 9 to CaO and CO2. The SOX in te waste gas is converted to CaSO4 by the reaction with CaO, and the NOX in the waste gas is reduced in the furnace 3 wherein a reducing atmosphere is created. Next, the waste gas desulfurized and denitrated in the furnace 3 and the solids formed by said decomposition are fed to a dust collector 4, and the waste gas separated of the solids by this is supplied to a superheater 10. Next, the steam from the furnace 1 is further heated with the waste gas introduced into the heater 10, after which it is fed to an economizer 11, where it is heat- exchanged with the water coming from the condenser 19 of the generating set, thence it is introduced into an air preheater 13. This waste gas is further used for preheating of the air in the preheater 13, after which it is released into the atmosphere through a dust collector 15.</p> |
