PURPOSE:To secure the secret of the transmitting document, by providing plural line memories that store the information corresonding to plural scanning lines plus a switch that switch optionally these line memories and transmits the information. CONSTITUTION:At the transmitting side, the document MS is scanned by a fascimile transmitter FS and supplied to a picture converter AS at the receiving side. The converter AS stores the supplied scan information into plural line memories LM1-LMN and at the same time selects optionally these line memories by means of switches SW1 and SW2 to transmit the information. The switching sequence of the SW1 and SW2 is controlled by the key information K, and this key information is also tranmitted to the receiving side. At the receiving side, the sequence of the scanning lines is selected by a picture converter AR having the same constitution as the converter AS and under the control of the information K to be supplied to a fascimile device FR of the receiving side. In such way, the secret can be kept to reproduce the document MR. |
