PURPOSE:To reduce the time of transmission and to attain the trasmission of the picture information with high efficiency for a facsimile signal transmitting method which is suited to a facsimile device which can perform the recording with the N-line synchronization and in the subscanning direction, by previously deciding the minimum transmitting time corresponding to an amount equivalent to N lines. CONSTITUTION:A CCD17 reads the picture on an original 11 with every line and feeds a video signal 18 to a contreoller 21. The video signal is converted into an MH code by the controller 21 and then transmitted to a MODEM11. When the transmission is over by an amount equivalent to a line, a signal 15 which advances the original by a line is fed to a step motor 12. At the same time, the controller 21 counts the line bit number Bn which is under transmission. In case this count value is smaller than the minimum transmission bit number Bm of N lines, the dumy signal is transmitted until the count value reaches the number Bm to complete the transmission of N lines. |
