PURPOSE:To reduce the noise of a pulse motor due to transient vibration by setting the width of a drive pulse widely in acceleration or deceleration period and narrowly in equal speed motion period. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor and a pulse distributor 50 which is operated in accordance with an instruction from a microcomputer are provided. The time limit taus of a monostable multivibrator 51 forming a pulse distributor 50 is set to a value sufficiently larger than the starting and decelerating speeds, and the time limit tauc of a monostable multivibrator 52 is set to a small value capable of maintaining the speed. Thus, the torque is small at the equal speed motion time, causing the transient vibration to be small, and the nose to be reduced. Further, the high speed scanning can be performed without losing acceleration and deceleration characteristics. |
