PURPOSE:To simplify the positioning of the strands and the segments of the coil and to speed up the manufacture of the subject rotor by a method wherein the radially fixed jumper wire, to be combinedly used with the segment, is fitted on a commutator plate. CONSTITUTION:On the outer surface of the disc-shaped commutator plate 15, the jumper wire 16, which will be combinedly used with the commutator segment, of the same number as the turn number of a coil unit 7, is isolated radially from the center M of the rotation of the commutator plate 15 and fixed. The commutator plate 15 is fitted on the upper end section of a coil unit 7, and the coil strand 1 and 1 which are exposed on the end face of the coil unit 7 and the point section 16a of the commutator segment 16 are welded using a laser beam. When the welding work is performed, if a sheet of commutator segment 16 on the commutator plate 15 is positioned on the coils 1 and 1, the positioning of all the other commutator segments is automatically performed, thereby enabling to manufacture the rotor speedily and easily. |
