PURPOSE:To instantly detect the discrimination of polarity connection error of an outgoing trunk and to enable charging processing, by providing a means discriminating the state of instant response when an outgoing trunk is started, in an automatic private branch of exchanger having an electronic charging device. CONSTITUTION:To perform charging processing at polarity connection error of an outgoing trunk OGT, the charging processing is kept even at the instant reponse state prior to dialing at start and the dialing is monitored. When a called party responds, since the opposing station is in response state, the polarity is inverted and the called party is restored in the automatic private branch of exchanger or the electronic charging device, but the change in the state of start is regarded as the called party response for normal charging processing. That is, the starting state and the state after dialing are compared and the changing point is taken as the called party response for charging processing. |
