PURPOSE:To eliminate the troublesomeness of an operation and to improve operability for test diagnosis by storing a bootstrap load channel number when bootstrap load is executed. CONSTITUTION:In case of the execution of test diagnosis of an operation processor EPU 3-1, the bootstrap load channel number is stored in the storage part 91 of a service processor SVP 9 by the storage processing of the bootstrap load channel number. When test diagnosis of an EPU 3-2 is successively performed, the SVP 9 outputs a message onto a console CSL 10 to inquire whether a bootstrap load device is changed or not. If bootstrap load from the same magnetic disk device 7 as preceding bootstrap load is executed, N is inputted as the response to the message, and the SVP 9 takes out the stored bootstrap load channel number to execute bootstrap load from the magnetic disk device 7. |
