<p>PURPOSE:To cope with a character input with any combined character type, by operating ANd between a binary discrimination mark to which one character input should belong and an actual binary discrimination mrk of the character input and obtaining the decided result from this operation result. CONSTITUTION:In table 50, respective character types are shown with binaries. That is, discrimination marks such as 00000001 are assigned to them. In figure, F is the discrimination mark which a given character input has, and FR is a reference discrimination mark such as 00000010 for decision which is supplied from, for example, the computer side. These marks are determined on a basis of table 50. If the given character input should be numbers, FR is set to 00000001. When the actual character input is numbers and has the discrimination mark 00000001, AND (x) between them is R=1, and it is decided that the given character input is numbers. AND (x) is operated in an AND gate in figure, and R is the decided result.</p> |
