PURPOSE:To visually observe an invariably accurate three-dimensional image in a different direction by placing at least one end part of picture elements within a range grasped by one-directional stereoscopy in a gap state. CONSTITUTION:Pieces of luminous flux of three kinds of images projected on a double renticular sheet DLS strike a projection-side lenticular sheet LS1 at a certain angle and then imaged temporarily on a diffuse transmission film S in the middle of the DLS, and the image is projected in some direction by an observation-side lenticular sheet LS2. Through the operation of the DLS, images on projection type CRTs 5-7 are projected in the specific direction of an observation side, and an observer observes the image (a) of the CRT5 with one eye and the image (b) on the CRT6 to see a stereoscopic image. On the CRT7, on the other hand, no image is displayed, and a difference between the width of a no-image part e' and an interval between both the eyes of the observer is made much less to prevent the observer from viewing an inverted three-dimensional image when simulaneously seeing the minor lobes of an image (c) and the image (a). |
