PURPOSE:To stick a lens assembly to a cylinder end surface efficiently by previously fitting a cover ring at the end part of a cylinder containing an optical fiber running in the center so that the ring forms the same surface with the end surface, and arranging the lens assembly on the end surface of the cylinder with th cover ring. CONSTITUTION:A cover ring 24 is pressed in covering the small-diameter end surface part 23 of a cylinder 22 to form the same plane with the end surface of the cylinder 22. On the end surface of the cylinder 22, a lens assembly 25 is mounted while a lens 26 is fitted at the center part. While the lens assembly 25 is pressed against the cover ring 24, a large current is flowed to fix the lens assembly 25 on the cover ring 24 by welding the circumferential edge part. The both use easily welded cover ring 24 by welding the circumferential edge part. The both use easily welded metallic materials. Then, a guide ring 27 made of stainless steel, etc., is fitted while holding the external circumferential edge of the cover ring 27, and then fixed with an adhesive, etc. |
