REGULATING METHOD FOR TEMPERATURE OF SLAG BY STEPWISE HEATING

PURPOSE:To facilitate the calculation of charged electric energy basing on charged electric power and hours and to control the temp. in a furnace with heat balance by providing a preliminary heating step until the introduction of slag melt and a component regulating material. CONSTITUTION:Electric power AkW for keeping temp. and heating which is equivalent to the quantity of heat dissipated from a furnace is charged at the time 0-t1 of a period wherein the component and temp. of a bath are made uniform and it is continuously allowed to flow out to a drafts making machine. Heating of constant electric power is performed with electric power BkW for preliminary heating during the period of a point t2 of time for introducing both slag melt and a component regulating material from a point t1 of time for starting preliminary heating before 10-20min than the point t2 of time. The introduction of both the slag melt and the component regulating material is started at the point t2 of time and also electric power level CkW for heating and melting is charged and the period for heating and melting is finished at a point t3 of time.
