PURPOSE:To prevent the convection of air within the titled heat collector and to improve the heat collecting efficiency of the collector by a method wherein a frame is interposed between a convection suppressing member and a transparent plate of the collector whereby even when the convection suppressing member expands thermally, it keeps a certain interval from the transparent plate. CONSTITUTION:When the interior of a solar heat collector is heated by solar heat in daytime and the air between a heat absorbing plate 7 and a convection suppressing member 9 expands to move upward along an upwardly inclined surface of the collector, the convection suppressing member 9 arranged in the upper part of the collector tends to move upward due to the expansive pressure of the air and the thermal expansion of the convection suppressing member 9 itself. In this case, the frame 8 having an upwardly inclined surface parallel to the inclined surface of the collector is integrally fixed to the box-shaped body 1 of the collector so that the convection suppressing member 9 is prevented from coming into contact with the transparent plate 12 to thereby prevent the convection of the air within the collector. |
