PURPOSE:To control the specific sliding according to a vehicle running state along with the smooth control of an engine brake by switching over the control responding to the specific sliding to that not responding to the same and vice versa depending upon the magnitude of a turning ratio of a driving shaft and a driven shaft. CONSTITUTION:Signals from a clutch driving shaft turning sensor 20, a clutch driven shaft sensor 40, a throttle opening sensor 12 and a shift lever position sensor 13 are inputted into a microprocessor 90. The microprocessor 90 judges a velocity ratio (e) of the driving shaft and the driven shaft under each condition, and controls the first clutch for slow starting when said ratio lies below the set value (0, 1), while when over the set value, the microcomputer further judges whether the vehicle is started with light load or braked with the engine according to the (e) value to perform either the second clutch control or the engine brake clutch control for the respective situation. In this way, the clutch control in responce to a condition when starting as well as the smooth control of the engine brake during running can be achieved. |
