PURPOSE:To fabricate a semi-submerged structure and hence eliminate the need to construct a giant dock by partially or entirely erecting a lower structural member at a position deviated from a regular connecting position to an upper structural member, meeting the width of a cock, and pulling the lower structural member outside the dock and then moving it to the regular connection position and fastening it. CONSTITUTION:Separate floating members 3 and 3 are constructed in parallel at an interval nearer than regularly specified in a dock 1. Columns 4 and reinforcing connecting members 5 such as bracing are installed on the floating members 3 and 3, thus forming a lower structural member. An upper structural member 14 is installed on one mating lower structural member and interfaced at the regular position and temporarily connected to the other lower structural member and pulled outside the dock 1 under this condition. The other lower structural member is moved from the temporary connecting position with a wire 20 pulled by a winch 22, and fastened. The numbers 6 and 7 stand for sliding boards. |
