<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a stable switching between regular and reverse conveyance of a paper without being influenced by the curling of the paper by selecting a specific angle for facing the top of the paper against the guide face of a guide plate. CONSTITUTION:For smoothing the holding of a paper 16 between a main reversing roller 8 and a downstream side reversing roller 7, the angle theta2 by which the lower end of the paper 16 guided near to the lower part of a guide plate 2 and pushed back in a reversing part is faced to the main reversing roller 8 is set greater than about 135 deg.. Meanwhile, the angle theta1 between the tangential line at the contact point of the main reversing roller 8 to an upper stream side reversing roller 6 and the guide plate 2 at the support is selected less than about 50 deg., and the gap between a reversing roller 3 and a pinch roller 4 is selected small so that the reversing roller 3 may be in touch with the pinch roller 4 before the rear end of the paper 16 is separated from the main reversing roller 8 after the rear end of the paper 16 is released from the upper stream side reversing roller 6.</p> |
