PURPOSE:To equalize the shapes of holes, in manufacturing the nozzles for ink jet recording devices, by forming a plurality of belt shaped slits in a plate material, sealing and bonding block members on both sides, and cutting them in sliced form. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of slits 2... are provided in the nozzle forming plate material 3' so that they are in parallel. In said nozzle forming plate material 3', one side of each of a plurality of thin plate materials 1a, 1b...1g is cut away in a belt shape and connected to the other straight side of each of the thin plate material 1b, 1c...1h, which are adjacent to said cut away side. Thus slits 2 and 2 are formed in-between. Or the slits 2 and 2 can be formed by directly performing etching and the like on one sheet of the thin plate material 1. Said nozzle forming plate material 3' and the block members 4a and 4b are sealed and bonded, and hole parts other than nozzle holes 7 are not formed. When the product is cut in a sliced form in the direction perpendicular to the slits 2 at an interval l, the nozzles 8' having a specified length can be obtained. |
