PURPOSE:To obtain a large ratio of speed reduction with simple construction, by concentrically arranging two bevel gears to the side of an input shaft and providing said two bevel gears diagonally to the axial line of the input shaft while concetrically arranging two bevel gears to the side of an output shaft then providing the latter bevel gears in a meshable state to the former bevel gears. CONSTITUTION:A gear shaft 3, having an axial line L2 crossing at a tilting angle of theta about 10 deg. with an axial line L1 of an input shaft 2, is successively provided to an internal end of the input shaft 2, supported to a machine body 1, through an expanded part 4, and the first bevel gear 6 is rotatably mounted to this gear shaft 3 through bearing bushes 9a, 9b. Then the second bevel gear 10 is mounted to the outside of said gear 6. While the third bevel gear 11, meshed to said gear 10, is mounted to the inside of a rear wall 1b in the machine frame 1, simultaneously an output shaft 12 is supported to said rear wall 1b in the center of the bevel gear 11, and the fourth bevel gear 13, meshed to said gear 6, is mounted to the internal end of said output shaft 12. In this construction, a considerably large ratio of speed reducion can be obtained. |
