PURPOSE:To produce multicolored metallic parts of a superior decorative effect at a low cost by machining and polishing a sintered alloy material of the multilayered structure wherein the powder of base metal and the powder of coloring metal are laminated and the laminate is sintered under pressure, thereby exposing the coloring metal parts by cutting and grinding. CONSTITUTION:A floating die 3 is supported vertically movably with springs 2 on a float base 1, and powder 6 of base metal and powder 7 of coloring metal are packed between a male die 4 inserted into the die 3 and a female die 5. The die 4 is moved in an arrow direction to mold both powders 6, 7 by pressure, whereby a discoidal blank material 8 is obtained. Then, the material 8 is heated in a hydrogen furnace, whereby a presintered blank material is obtained. Thereafter, the material is cut and molded to a cut and molded blank material 9 which is regularly sintered in a hydrogen furnace or the like, whereby the sintered alloy material is obtained. Further, it is polished to a finished product. |
